2026 Learning Festival

- “Connecting Through Learning, Opening the Door to Growth” … Individual performance-sharing events brought together into one festival for the first time

- From foundational learning support to the INU SURPRISE Global Talent Development Program, creating a student-led festival for learning and growth

The Office of Educational Innovation at Incheon National University (INU), led by President Injae Lee, successfully hosted the “2026 Learning Festival” on September 17 at the Small Theater and lobby of the Welfare Center (Building 11) on the Songdo Campus, providing students with an opportunity to share their self-directed learning experiences and stories of growth.

Held under the slogan “Connecting Through Learning, Opening the Door to Growth,” the event brought together performance-sharing sessions that had previously been held separately for individual programs. Going beyond simply presenting outstanding cases, the festival was designed as a platform where students could share both their successes and challenges and take the lead in discussing their future plans and ways to improve programs for the following year. Student presentations were organized into sessions tailored to different stages of growth and delivered in a relay format.

The student presentations were evaluated by a panel of six INU judges to ensure fairness. Scholarships were awarded to outstanding students based on a comprehensive assessment of criteria including the specificity of the content, contribution to sharing program outcomes, and presentation skills.

In addition to the presentation sessions, the lobby featured a variety of activities. Interactive booths introduced learning support programs offered by the Office of Educational Innovation, while information booths provided students with useful resources on K-MOOC, interdisciplinary curricula, LMS, and UNIAI. A trendy photo zone was also set up, attracting many students throughout the event.

An official from the INU Office of Educational Innovation said, “By integrating the previously separate presentation events into one large-scale festival, we were able to strengthen connections among programs and significantly improve accessibility for student participation.” The official added, “We will continue to support the expansion of a self-directed learning culture across the University, where students inspire one another and grow together.”
